The role of man in the agenda of God for mankind requires that he occupies the front seat in ensuring that the purpose of God is established on earth. This role spans all facets of human endeavour; the family, the church, the work place, the community and the nation.
God has made man the pillar unto which all lean for support. In the Men’s Fellowship of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Dominion Cathedral, we are committed to ensuring that we are standing strong through the grace of God. This commitment informs the kind of projects and programmes we engage in; all we want to achieve is impacting lives with the resources God has given us answering to the earnest expectation of everyone we are in contact with.
We are mindful of the fact that the spiritual controls the physical; we therefore have our prayer focus for every week joining our faiths daily and praying together series of prayer points. We do not cease praying always for our members, their families, our fellowship, the church and the nation. Results of our prayers are evident.
Our meetings are studded with fresh information on how our members can consistently improve on their homes, careers, businesses, health, and Christian living. Opportunities are given to our members who are informed in these areas to share of their knowledge creating a platform for impacts from members to members. We also harness wealth of knowledge from external facilitators. It is a mix of rich resources.
Our corporate social responsibilities are dear to us. Involvement and support is collective. Contributions from our members have gone a long way in ensuring our CSR initiatives go beyond the church to families and our community. Our scholarship programme sees every child under the programme through school; specialized medical support extends to eye prosthesis; educational materials to public schools and other CSR initiatives are part of what we engage in.
Dependable pillars we are, dependable pillars we will always be by the grace of God Who have called us to this service until the coming of our Lord.
Wherever you find yourself as a man in the assembly of the children of God, be counted for this is but for a season. Great is the work, heaven is counting on you for the job to be done.
