Maternity Centre in the Redeemed Christian Church of God is a Corporate Social Responsibility project that is dear to the heart of the Mother in Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, it is therefore always a joyful thing for her to see Maternity Centres being established in parishes of the Mission. Being a CSR project, patients don’t pay for delivery; this has helped many disadvantaged families in the area of deliveries. Also, the Maternity Centres are faith-based; prayers are offered continuously for pregnant women in these facilities and testimonies abound of cases that could be attributed to God’s miraculous interventions.
Over the years, it has been in the plan of the Redeemer’s Men’s Fellowship of Dominion Cathedral to set up a maternity centre within the premises of the church in line with the vision of the Mission; in God’s own appointed time under the leadership of Pastor Timothy Olaniyan, an approval was given to set up the facility. With the support of members of the fellowship and the congregation, a maternity centre was birthed and dedicated on the 17th November, 2019. Mummy G.O. was ably represented by coordinators of RCCG maternity at the National level led by Pastor (Mrs.) Odesola.
The maternity immediately got competent, committed and well trained nurses under the supervision of Mrs. Omotoyosi Gbaiye; and since then the maternity has been operational with over 60 deliveries. A good number of these deliveries have their outstanding and faith-building testimonies.
Although the Maternity Centre clocked a year on the 17th of November 2020 which was celebrated with thanksgiving on the Men’s Thanksgiving Sunday held on the 13th December 2020, the anniversary celebration holds on the 10th of February, 2021. All beneficiaries of the Maternity Centre are expected to be in attendance.
Being a CSR project, the Maternity Centre requires a lot of support in order to be able to deliver on its objectives. You can support this project by reaching out to the fellowship through our contact information.
