Employment Bureau
This is a department set up to cater for the employment needs of members of the Fellowship and the church at large. It is our fervent belief that the mind of the Lord for us is that we should have good future and hope; this means that we should be gainfully employed to enable “the pillar” to continually stand.
However, statistics have shown that a high number of our youths are within the unemployed/underemployed category while many adults who were formerly employed are now out of job. The establishment of the bureau is the Fellowship’s strategic response to this state of affairs. Specifically, the objectives of the department are:
- Caters for the employment need of members of the Fellowship and the church at large
- Regularly organizing career counseling and enlightenment programmes for the unemployed and underemployed as a way of preparing them for future career decisions
- Linking job seekers with available vacancies through advertisement summary, announcements, etc
- Sourcing for available jobs from different media and making such information available to members of the Fellowship and the church through visible platforms within the church
- Providing employment advisory services to members where necessary
- Providing professional corporate advices to those preparing to attend interviews through mock interviews and other relevant means
